Overview
The legal issues raised by this year's Wabash College Moot Court Competition, which is written by alumni, concern the constitutionality of posting the Ten Commandments on a civic monument on the grounds of a city hall building. The problem is based on an Indiana case and a similar case in Kentucky, and references a statute permitting local Indiana governments to post the Ten Commandments if made part of an effort to educate the public on the influence of the Ten Commandments on the development of the state and federal Constitutions and other American jurisprudence.
